Your fishing experience

Sail fishing is likened to sight fishing at its best, in other words you get to see the sailfish when your dropping a bait back to it. On the trip out to the grounds you’ll be shown how, when & why to drop a switch bait back to hungry sailfish and a bit of the terminology we use as well. Our experienced & helpful deckie Shannon and myself are there to give assistance as the both of us ‘love catching sailfish’ and expect a full hands on day. Fishing

Our season starts in March and goes thru to November weather dependant. Around mid June the Humpback whales and bait schools start appearing in numbers. 'Where there’s Whales there’s Sailfish. Contact us for a price on multiple day charters.

We also offer the option of reef fishing for full day private charter bookings. We target blue bone, coral trout, red emperor and many more.

We also offer barra charters through the wet season (November to March). We have a custom 6 metre centre colsole custom designed boat for Broome rivers and creeks. We target Threadfin, Barramundi, blue nose and triple tail etc.

Wildlife we come across

The wildlife out there is amazing, humpback whales, pilot whales, turtles, dolphins, sea snakes, frigates, turns, jesus birds, budgerigars just to name a few.

What to bring

Bring your polarised sunnies (to see the fish) and a peaked cap, better suited for hearing the skipper when spotting Sailfish in the spread. Make sure you have "slip on shoes" as we leave from the beach and if you like a couple of beers or a wine at the end of the day feel free to bring them along.

Fishing grounds

Our fishing grounds vary in distance, as a rule early April, May & June we’re within 20 nautical miles of Broome and Aug, Sept, Oct/Nov we can be working 30+ Nm North.

Departure and Pick up times

We pick you up at 7.15 am drop-off 4.15 pm, tide dependant. Our charter includes supply of all fishing tackle, soft drink, water, snacks and a home made lunch is supplied.

Pricing

Boat price – $2000 per/day for up to 4. ( or $500 per person per day).

Includes: Pickup/drop off, morning tea, lunch, snacks, soft drinks and water.

Payment– can be either Cash or EFTPOS. NO credit cards.
